Road to Mongolia 2016

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Local man, Ian Boyle is organising an overland trip from Ireland to Mongolia in July with all proceeds going to charity.

He is raising funds for GoHelp. All funds raised on the GoHelp portal go to that charity.

They will be making a documentary as they journey from Western Europe to Mongolia.

All proceeds from the documentary will go to thee RNLI.

Firímí Beaga Christmas Party 2016

The annual Firímí Beaga Christmas party was held on St Stephen's Day in The Compass

A great evening's entertainment was had. Music was provided by Cian & Flix and featured Marie-Louise Wallace on accordion and Sarah Calvey and Grainne Calvey.

The raffle proceeds went to Muintir a'Chorrain

Currane Goals - Prize Presentation

The second 10 week cycle of the Currane Goals competition was completed over the Christmas period

The winners were as follows - 

€600 Most Goals Scored - Peterborough United - 30 Goals - Sean Wallace

€200 Runner Up - Everton- 23 Goals - Andrew Dever

€200 Least Goals Scored - 5 Goals - David Ryder (there was a tie, result decided on goal difference)
